  • Weight to ±0.1 kg on four load cells—the one figure here that's a measurement, not an estimate
  • Estimates body fat, muscle mass, body water, and visceral rating by bioelectrical impedance
  • Syncs to an app that keeps the 12-week trend, which is the only way these numbers mean anything
  • Up to 8 users, recognized automatically by weight profile

This scale weighs you accurately and estimates everything else. It's worth being precise about that difference: the load cells give your weight to a tenth of a kilo, and the body-fat, muscle, and water figures are calculated from how much a small current is resisted as it passes through your feet. They're estimates—useful as a trend over weeks, unreliable as a single reading.

Which is why the app matters more than the sensor. One morning's body-fat figure mostly tells you how hydrated you are. Twelve weeks of the same reading, taken at the same time of day, tells you something real. The app keeps the series and shows the seven-day average, so you're looking at the line rather than the dot.

Versus our Digital Smart Scale (N60,000): that one weighs and estimates body fat only, with no app history and no multi-user profiles. This one adds muscle mass, body water, visceral rating, app sync, and up to 8 users. If you just want an accurate weight, buy the cheaper one—it's the same load cells.

  • First thing in the morning, after the bathroom, before eating or drinking.

  • Bare feet, dry soles, standing still on the electrodes for the full reading.
    Banana, yogurt, spinach, powders.

  • Once a week, same day, same time. Not daily.

  • Read the seven-day average in the app, never a single number.

  • Don't weigh straight after training, a shower, a salty meal, or alcohol—all four move body water sharply.

Reading the number

A body-fat percentage means nothing without a reference range, and the ranges differ by sex and age. Our body-fat percentage chart lays out the published bands with sources cited and explains what a 3–5 point margin of error means for how much weight to put on your own figure.

Frequently asked questions

Weight is accurate to ±0.1 kg. Body fat, muscle, and water are estimates from bioelectrical impedance and commonly differ from a DEXA scan by 3–5 percentage points. Their value is the trend across weeks under identical conditions, not any individual reading.

Yes. It runs at 14,000rpm on four 304 stainless blades and handles ice cubes and frozen fruit. Add liquid first
and ice last, then pulse in short bursts before running it continuously.

What's the difference between this and the Digital Smart Scale?

The Smart Scale ($40) weighs and estimates body fat, with no app history or user profiles. This one ($80) adds
muscle mass, body water, visceral rating, bone mass, BMR, app sync with trend history, and up to 8 auto-
recognized users. Same load cells, so weight accuracy is identical.

Why is my body fat reading different every day?

Because hydration changes and impedance reads hydration as composition. Salt, alcohol, a hard session, or simply the time of day can move it several points with no change in body fat. Weigh weekly, same conditions, and read the average.

Can I use it with a pacemaker?

No. Anyone with a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device should not use bioelectrical impedance.
Use a conventional scale, or the weight function only if your doctor confirms that's appropriate.

Does it need batteries or charging?

Four AAA batteries, included, typically lasting 12–18 months at weekly use.

How many people can use one scale?

Up to eight profiles are recognized automatically from weight. Each person's trend is kept separately in the app.
